Product Details & Specifications: NGN nbn™: Access to the government-owned NBN network, aimed at providing universal internet access across Australia. This service is best-effort, consumer-grade, and not recommended for latency-sensitive applications. 
 

Connectivity: The service can be delivered via different technologies such as optical fibre, coaxial cable, copper pairs, or fixed wireless. 

Performance: Due to the shared nature of the network, data transfer rates and latency may vary based on factors like time, location, and usage. The service may not be suitable for certain applications sensitive to these factors. 

IPv4 Addresses: Dynamic IPv4 addresses are typically provided, with static IPv4 available at an additional cost for business customers. 

Equipment: NBN services do not include a modem/router unless specified. Customers can use their own equipment or purchase one from Best Business Deals. 

Speed Capability: For NBN services delivered over FTTB/N/C, if the service cannot deliver the plan's top speed, options to downgrade or cancel the plan will be provided without charge. 

Power Outage: NBN services may not work during a power outage unless connected via FTTP with a working battery backup. 

Medical and Security Alarms: Customers should check the compatibility of medical or security alarms with NBN services before ordering. Registration on the NBN Medical Alarm Register is recommended for those with medical alarms.
